I have a friend that just bought a new Remington 783 in .270. He asked me to help him install a scope for him since I have a torque driver. He still needs a base and rings. He is getting a set of Burris Zee rings, but cant find a base. He wants a picatinny rail. When looking a Midwayusa and Sinclair I cant find anything about this new model 783. The only thing I can find online is that the new 783 uses 2 front bases of a model 700. He doesnt want a 2 piece base. He wants a picatinny rail. Can anybody help him and I out? He wants this rifle put together so he can shoot it by next weekend. Thanks!
