Need help ordering barrel .243

1:7.5" twist minimum,true twist rate). A 1:8" will stabilize, at high enough speeds, but the 1:7.5" gives you a margin of safety.
Barrel length--depends on your discipline, but I'd suggest from 27" to 30". The extra velocity you get will depend on a lot of things--powder, bore diameter etc., but with a .243, you'll probably pick up about 15 fps per inch.,When we tested a 6BR, the average increase in velocity from 28" to 33" was just 8 fps per inch).
As to brand, Broughtons, Kriegers, Schneiders, PacNors and others have been very successful with the 115s.
