need Help, how fast can you push the SMK 77 and SMK 80

hey Guys,
i am working with (223)SMK 77 and would like to know how fast i can push these bullets
also does speed matters if they are used in AR15 or bolt gun.

2900-3K, at 63Kpsi with a 24" barrel. I could get 2950 with the 75 HDY bthp with VV540 in a service rifle, 20" barrel.

I wouldn't concern yourself with speed, you want accuracy. more and more speed is a recipe for failure. if you absolutely want a little more speed--if it is an ar-15, use lake city brass, and run a bolt carrier weight with the tungsten insert in it, this will help things out. aa-2520 is a good powder to try as well

Speed kills, especially in gas guns. Look for an established load that gives you 2,800 - 2,850 fps in a service rifle & you'll do just fine & not beat up your bolt lugs or brass.

thanks, thats the answer i was looking for.
loaded and of to the 200yard range to test:
they going 2842fps and 5 shots grouped 0.700" at 200yards

next are smk 80's
