need help finding old article (optomitrist from CA)

A few years back in the daily bulletin there was an article about a eye doc that had a cure for people that have an astigmatism.

I am having trouble keeping my shooting eye focused and would really like to reread that article and possibly even contacting that eye doc.
I know he was from California and he was of Asian descent, but don't remember to much from the article.

Can anyone post the link for me ?
