I load 43.6gn varget with 175tmk .020" off lands in my f class load for ftr to 1000yds. Magnetospeed 2750fps @ 59*F in kreiger hvy Palma 10 twist 30".

If your plans for the rifle/load are to shoot beyond 100yds then if possible shoot the same loads at a further distance. Increasing the distance to test will allow you to see powder nodes easier. If I had to make a selection based on the info you provided I would test 43.8, 43.9, and 44.0 then putz with seating depth a bit.

Good shooting

Rich

Shoot at least 10 shots of the 43.9 letting the barrel cool a little in between. If 8-9 out of 10 are that close, you have it.

If this is continued testing from your post in the Erik Cortina thread, good results. I would have tested 43.7, 43.8, 43.9... just saying. The other targets gave you trigger time.

Here are some results at 200 yards,3 shots,.020 off lands,Sierra 175hpbt,no chrony

Another thought here and I'm no expert however if you really want to use 175 gr there are more appropriate powders for that gr.
Take a 175 FGMM apart and look at the kernels, that's not Varget'
j

I'm not married to Varget, don't even use it anymore at all. Jim if you don't mind, name them and why.

20180526_093402.jpg Before I shot those groups, I changed out my rings on my scope,so the last shot I took was 43.5 varget, looks like it's very close

the closer you get to 43.5 the better they look. Humm interesting

Addendum- do you feel like your powder charge window is 43.5-43.7 ?

Look at the OP's original targets and refer to Erik Cortina's thread, 43.3 and 43.6 are stable loads. Singular tight groups at 100 yards aren't always the path to accuracy at longer ranges.
