Need Expert Advice - Load Data

I ordered 50 pieces of PPU brass to take out the different headstamp variable. This is too much fun. And too expensive, haha.

Been shooting GH for 50 years. Eventually you decide to quit experimenting and just shoot your most accurate load. Just work on personal skills. I have a lot of bullets and powder I will probably never use. I would be willing to give them to someone at the range (Kelbly's) or charge a very low fee.

I have some PPU cases coming in so I am using the same headstamp. Computer is only used to catalog information.

well with those cases, i would load them all with the exact same load, shoot over a chronograph and throw out case that are not in the "mean", normal of the rest.

I can say, the Hornady hotter loads was a bit much. Rifle jumped and I lost sight of the target. I may refer to the Hodgdon loads. With the range I am shooting, it won't make much difference. Plus, lower loads means more powder to reload.

Also. I think I need to just test three loads at a time with about a half grain between loads. I am learning as I go and appreciate all the advice.

No expert, just and old shooter who put a lot of rds down range, with a variety of calibers.
The best load requires a fair amount of experimentation...but accuracy is not usually the highest velocity..prioritize...highest velocity for hunting with reasonable accuracy. Varget 28.5 to 32.5 and 170 gr bullets slower but might yield the accuracy. Leverevolution is supposed to be the fast powder, but may not live up to your accuracy expectations.
The 30-30 was my truck gun...game to self defense...carried an old half cock safety 16" Winchester 94 factory open sights... just adj the sight elevator...later..I added a Williams peep and was abe to shoot small targets with ease back when my eyesight was good...never shot a factory cartridge...never changed the handload, a max load of W748 and Speer 170 gr Flat point, small game to deer...it worked...even practiced to 400 yds at rocks with it...it'd make ya smile with the hits and seemed to be flat shooting! ...cause I'd shot the 45-70 for years, way out there ...and wait for the bullet impact...then watch it skip across the desert 2 or 3 times, after the initial impact.
