Need Advice competitive son.

Good deal----Tom is a good man.

Something new to think about.

I suspect a substantial amount of money will be raised-----maybe enough to
set John up with top-of-the-line rifle, gear, ammo etc.

Do we want/need support from our friends on other forums ?

A. Weldy

I wanted to thank Tom for gathering all this for John, and I wanted to thank all of you all for being so nice. I did not come here looking for donations, I was just hoping someone might have an idea on used guns or even have one collecting dust. So I have been blown away. I know right now John will be at Camp Perry March 28-30 for Regionals of the national 3P event. If any of you are there, or are close John & I would like to personally thank you. I'm just at a loss as to what to say, so I'll end this with THANK YOU

Paula

Thanks Alan.....you ready to sell that rifle yet?
Re support from other forums, OF COURSE, the mo' de merrier :) :) .
One of the best boot strap programs I know of. Beats midnite b'ball to heck and back. I milked in my teens and my wife was raised on a Class A dairy op....We've both been smacked in the head with a pissy tail..... :/

John is in charge of the heifers and calves as well as water tanks. He milks sometimes, like this summer we had our 25th wedding anniversary so John milked so we could go away for a few days. Last week he had the flu according to that rapid test, but it was very cold, so fever and all he had to chop open the tanks & ponds. I felt like a bad mom, but life hear is different, the cows depend on him. But I will agree piss/crap tails to the face do suck, & sting.

The character, generosity, and superior management of this forum never cease to amaze me. Keep us up to date on his progress.

Money mailed today. $100 will be my donation to help him move up. Glad to help. This is great. I got help from a good friend many years back when I found I wanted to shoot Bullseye pistol. He had a extra pistol and let me shoot it and pay it out. That was 22 years back. Still shooting the Colt 45 Auto built by RL Shockey from El Reno, OK.

I shoot 600/1000yd benchrest and don't know anything about this shooting dicipline, but I'm guessing it leads young shooters into the highpower game. Our local highschool district KERN HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT here in Bakersfield Ca (yes the home of Merle Haggard and Buck Owens) has a few old schools that have underground shooting ranges that haven't been used since the 50's. Recently they were revamped and are being used for some type of airgun sling shooting. I never thought I'd see the day, especially here in California, but it's sure encouraging. A member here @sparker (well known for tuning beam scales for reloaders) A highpower sling shooter is to be credited for this. The vast majority of shooters I've met are top notch people that I enjoy being around and the world needs more of them. I'm going to send a contribution too. Sounds like a good boy raised by a good mom. Barry.
