need a load for 223 52gr hpbt match hornady bullet

Hi all, I would like your in put for a load using the hornady 52 gr. hpbt match for 223. Out of a custom Rem. 700 w/ shilen 24" 1-12 twist. Thanks Bill

I am currently using 25.2 gr. IMR 4895 behind a 52 hpbt, win primers and lake city brass. Another good one is 27 gr. Reloader 15 with same components.

All time best load is from Ed Harris, Ed's red maker, (pretty sharp tac in my book) He got it from Wally Hart!

22.0 Grains IMR 4198 **** near max load!
CCI 450 Primer or Fed 205's
any brass, Nosler was best. Lapua close 2nd.
52 HP match

My only tweak to his "Load" is I use 53 V-Max's with the 290 BC.
It's a Bit$H to measure that stick powder but worth the time.

Try 25.5 gr of Benchmark. Works well for me
