Need a FIX for revolver issue

Fired rounds in my mdl 29, 6" leave the cases STUCK in the cylinder. Several hundred rounds loaded. Long time ago. I don't remember this to be a SUCH an issue. I do remember sending the gun to S&W. They sent it back without explanation.

This is my BEAR gun. If them bears find out I have only 6 rounds, (I could. MISS that many) I need a FIX for this troubling issue.

I could load down, but the loads are entry level. Does anyone know how to polish the cylinders? Any other suggestions? THANKS.

IF....... you have been shooting 44 special in it, there could be a slight build up of carbon etc that is fouling the longer 44 mag cartridge. In that case, clean your chambers really good.

have you tried using an empty 44mag case and pushing it into the cylinder and maybe knocking some crud out? it can be real hard to get the carbon out of the cylinder. I had a 357 and shot 38 sp. created a pretty good mess.

After you clean the cylinder with a bronze
brush and see rough machining marks you can try polishing them smooth by wrapping a brush with 000 steel wool or red or green scotch bright. lube with a light oil.
