NEED 280 ACKLEY IMPROVED CASE AND BERGER 180GR MATCH VLD BULLET

OK I could go out and buy 50 Nosler cases and 100 berger bullets, but I don't need these quite yet.
I would like to get one Nosler 280 ackley case and 1 berger 7mm 180gr match VLD bullet so that I can get a reamer made.
Could someone help me out? I am willing to pay for the combo and shipping.
I am just trying to conserve funds while building the rifle.

If I could make a suggestion, if I were getting a reamer ground/made for a bullet it would be the 180g Berger Hybrid and not the VLD bullet. Hybrid has a higher BC, is more seating depth tolerant and the same price.

I could send you either the VLD(dont shoot them any more) or a few Hybrids.

(Take a look at the 180g SMK too, I think the BC is very similar to the VLD. I could send a few of those if interested)

Dittos on the preference for the Berger 7mm 180 gr. Hybrid bullets over the 180 gr. VLD's. I just shot 44 rounds of 284 Win yesterday loaded with the Berger 7mm 180 gr. Hybrids and they shot great and consistently. Years ago, I stopped using the 180 gr. VLD's because of a flyer every once in a while, but I did not see any such flyers in 44 rounds yesterday with the Hybrid bullets - very accurate and consistent!

Dont worry about the reamer being for one or the other. I shoot 180 Hybrids now in a chamber that was cut with a reamer designed for the 180 VLD. I get excellant accauracy.

I agree with 280man, the neck is so long that freebore isn't that critical.
