Need .260 Rem load data

Hey everyone,

I have a Remington model 7 .260 Rem with a 20" 1 in 9 twist barrel. I have been loading 129 gr hornady sp interlocks and 120 gr Nosler ballistic tips using Varget with great results on deer. I have some 130 gr Swift Scirocco II's that I want to load but having trouble finding load data . Does anyone have any load data for the 130 gr sciroccos using Varget, IMR 4895,4350, or 4831? Will be using Lapua brass and CCI BR2 primers.

Thanks in advance

I would look try 39grs of Varget with 130's. Works really well. Lapua brass, cci 200 or BR2, with .002" neck tension. Of coarse with any load please work up.

BTW... Welcome to Acucurate Shooter.

there is a thread on this site dedicated to the 260 rem loads. check it out in the big stuff forum.
don't overlook h4350 with your 120 grn class of bullets, this is my favorite.

Go to Hodgdon Powders web site for their online load data. If you do not have at least one reloading manual you need to buy one! The single caliber data books are very helpful as they show data from every source available including Europe and Australia. At $12 or so each I find them a bargain.
Don't forget to try H4350 and you must take ANY forum load data with a grain of salt so matter who it is from. None of it necessarily applies to YOUR rifle/chamber/barrel...
