Necking down SLR to 40 degree shoulder angle - Problem?

Thanks for any input. I am wondering if necking down the SLR a little farther to achieve 35-40 degree shoulder angle will be problematic and crush cases. The point is to achieve a few more thou of seating depth adjustment with long bullets. If there are problems necking down into a steep angle like that, the SLR is good enough of course. Just curious if anyone has direct experience with this.
