Yes. First time I’ve done it this way. Experiment. Obviously it created some problems but the benefit, I think, is the neck will be turned past where the shoulder will start and I won’t get too far into the shoulder. The brass doesn’t flow evenly I guess is what I am trying to say, no matter if your going up or down in size.But I gotta admit, getting the right thickness to end up w .014” after necking down was a bit of a pain. The math didn’t seem to work out
