Necking down problems

You neck turned before you did all of your sizing is the way I understood.
Yes. First time I’ve done it this way. Experiment. Obviously it created some problems but the benefit, I think, is the neck will be turned past where the shoulder will start and I won’t get too far into the shoulder. No donut and no weak spot at the start of the shoulder. Might work out.
 
But I gotta admit, getting the right thickness to end up w .014” after necking down was a bit of a pain. The math didn’t seem to work out

The brass doesn’t flow evenly I guess is what I am trying to say, no matter if your going up or down in size.

You're doing it right. Just takes a bit of trial & error with a few culled cases to get the numbers right.
I always turn at native cal, and I don't get any 'flow' from my turned numbers.
Perhaps because I don't ever FL size.
