Neck turning

Tokay, When someone puts forth an idea that doesn't fit your own beliefs, you fear that you are not the know it all that you believe yourself to be and that is a threat to your over sized ego.

You never have anything to offer that is fresh or of any value.... I have yet to read a post from you that contributes in any positive way. Just consistently useless negativity and criticism. I feel sad for people like you... so afraid of change, so full of fear. Guardians of the status quo. They call that unconscious incompetence.

You can turn your brass any way you want, I really don't care. Could be some guys like the idea, even if you don't.
False.

I have yet to record spring back in the manner you describe.
Take a caliper measurement on the ID of a bushing to varify it’s dimension then size a case and remeasure the neck OD to record any spring back.
To obtain accurate dimensions of small diameter holes to determine spring back, I’d recommend a gauge set like in the link below…

Use the exact same process with each piece of brass. You will get the same result. After firing once or twice, you may want to do the same turning process one more time to clean up the brass. It’s really not that complicated.

Btw, don’t worry if you screw up a piece or two of brass getting your turner set. It happens.

I am just some old engineer who is nobody in the target world... but watching Practical Tactical's video and comments here and on youtube, I am entertained. I have a mill, a lathe, etc, but I marvel at his efforts and intensity. He is a living reality TV show. We need more people like him, who try hard.
