Neck turning fired brass

Stupid question but once brass is fired and full length resized at that point can it be neck turned? Thanks in advance

Yes. Your neck shoulder junctions will be more consistent with fired brass also. New brass can have variations in that area. All the wrinkles will be ironed out, so to say.

Thats the answer I was looking for :) but brass must be full length resized correct? I normally just neck size but I believe that would be a no no. So am I correct that the full length resize it a must?

I don't see why you couldn't neck them then expand with the expander and turn them. The cases should be consistent due to to fireforming. I would say either will work. If you normally neck size, then remove the expander button from your die. Neck size, then expand with your expander to match the turning mandrel and turn them.

Obviously you aren't shooting them in a tight neck chamber. Are you just wanting to clean them up? Make sure they are trimmed to the same length first.

Well a bit of all three. I do not shoot competitively but I do shoot @ 600 yards and shoot a some benchrest and love to shoot hogs.
