Neck turn vs no neck turn

So I see posts talking about neck turn and no neck turn barrels (actually chambers, right?). I onow what neck turning brass is, but what is different with the barrels/ chambers? Thanks!

The only difference is the neck diameter of the chamber (usually cut by the same finishing reamer, but can be done separately). "No turn" neck will be larger to allow adequate clearance for varying thickness of brass necks. Turning your brass necks to a specific thickness/diameter allows for tighter clearances in the chamber because you don't need to make allowances for the variations in factory brass.

Neck turning also makes out necks more concentric for a more even bullet realer. To me, the biggest advantage is being able to correct the necks on cases I would otherwise discard. Realize this only applies to my BR rifles......
