Bullet grip is adjusted with length of neck sizing (not diameter)
1thou under loaded is sufficient depending on the bullet bearing seated and length of sizing. Beyond 1.5thou you're only increasing seating forces which can mess with consistency in seating of uncoated bullets.TimP said:Okay, so with a bullet seated into the neck I have a neck diameter of .336. My bushing is stamped .334 but when I mic my neck after sizing it is .33320. Now I understand I can partially size the neck to adjust bullet grip but how much do I want to reduce the neck diameter.
