Necessity is the mother of invention

After trying to get descent knob blanks from several sources I decided to take matters into my own hands. As I do not have a CNC Lathe I had to figure a way to do this on my CNC Mill. Quite challenging to say the least. But, turned out quit nicely and makes for some fun machining.

Second part of the video shows the crazy amount on code it takes to make this happen. :D:confused:

Thanks for checking it out.:D:D

That's alright!!!!!! Where there's a will {need} there is a way..........and the way is easier if you are not stupid. {it's also a lot easier if you have money, just sayin'}
I actually make mine one at a time {for myself} on my manual lathe. In fact, reading this reminds me I have two to install, so I think I will go and have at them.....great work!!!!

If some only knew how much code has to be written to do what appears to be the simplest, easiest job...............
