Scott,

Sorry, but it was a quandry for me too. The stars aligned for BIS, I look forwards to making the Duluth match someday.. I know you'll make BIS sometimes.

Matthias

You will be welcomed with open arms. I miss my cheap Range fee's from ND. World class indoor range for 3X less than what I pay for just an outdooor membership down south.

Hope you like the wind???!!!
good luck finding a house... Bit crazy up there right now.

Wish I could - Rod,

But going to head out to Raton the following weekend for some fun and frustration.

Looking forward to my second nationals.

Are you heading out there too?

Rita

Best of luck to everyone heading out.

I'd be there too, but duty calls and I've got to do my part in keeping the resident goose population in check. ;)

Priorities Brad Priorities... Silly Sky Carp will be there all fall...and Only one Long range regional in that area.
Tisk Tisk

Good luck either way.

Hey Brad, I'm picking Rod up Saturday morning and heading west for Moffit. 15 Daily....Must be an acquired taste like lutefisk!!!! Eric in DL

We used to take the white/blue sky carp from out by Bowbells and Northgate, ND and breast them out. Then slice them to half as thick as original, and throw on the grill. As good as beef tenderloin, especially with some liquids. Have fun guys!

Rod

Conditions were definitely better for me than they were for you guys. Do you have any results or pics? I'll be out there quite a bit next year once my new toy is put together.

The word I got was brutal winds with gusts up to 28mph. Some were using 15 minutes of wind.

Eric (our very own "Cakes" here on this forum) took 2nd overall with a 946, and Rod won his class with a 901.

Nice job fellas! Great shooting in nasty conditions!

The winds were brutal, the dust a-flying and the sun was shining. Had a great time..

99% sure Eric's score was a 946, may be off a point or 2. F/O winner was a 951. I was given the Marksman class win cuz of my avg scores. For the record, I am still unclassed at LR and should of been put in Master. But I'd be lying if it didn't admit it still felt good to see my name at the top of "some" list.... ;D Avg windage for Eric and I was prob 6-7 moa left on Sat and 6-7 right on Sun. I think I had 8 dialed in at one point...

Wow, what a humbling shoot, the guys in BIS put on a great match... On a side note, great shooting by Mike Cobert of GFK, shooting a 6SLR and taking 3rd overall in F/O. It was not a day or conditions to be shooting a 6mm.. Wow.... But Mike pulled it off, watch this guy in the future....

As usual the guys from the Bismarck/Mandan club put on a great show. N.D. LR regions was well attended by folks from Billings, Wyoming, Rapid City and some up near Canada. Winds did seem to create some "stress" on most folks as 6-7 minutes was the norm and I even ended up with 10 minutes on one relay. Mostly 15 gusting to 25. NW the 1st day and SW the 2nd. Interesting to be in the pits 1st thing the 2nd morning as those that forgot to zero out ended up being about 15 minutes off on the 1st shot!! Those let-ups to 20mph would put you almost off the paper if not caught. Congrats to Mr. Suhr for his gold. Brian put up some great scores in the "breeze". It seemed the closer I got the harder he tried!! Hope to close the gap even more next year! Not quite as close as Rod stated, I think about 15pts for the weekend. I think the boys need to plant some shelter belts on both sides of the range as it gets just a bit dusty out there!! Proud to represent Team Lefse!! Harvey even told me the Lutefisk in a bag isn't too bad!! I'm going to take his word on that one!! Another "rabbit choker"...Eric in DL
