NBRSA nationals in Oregon ??

right but it is ok to have the ibs nationals on the east coast 2 years in a row.
grow a pair

I seldom participate in discussions on the website but this comment deserves a reply. The IBS 600 Yard Nationals in 2013 were in St. Louis, MO, 2014 was held in Memphis, TN and 2015 was at Spickard, MO. I'm only going from memory here but to my recollection; Missouri has 3 IBS 600 yard ranges, Tennessee has 1, the Carolinas have 1 (2 if you count Dark Corner shooting at Piedmont), Wisconsin has 1, West Virginia has 1, there are 1 or 2 in the Dakotas, Delaware has 1 and Minnessota has 2. There are no 600 yard IBS ranges west of these states on the current IBS schedule. I believe Colorado had a match or two last year but they didn't schedule any for this year due to low participation. I could well be wrong on that point.

According to my Google Map, St. Louis, MO is over 680 miles from the east coast. So, to say the Nationals were held on the east coast the past 2 years is a gross misstatement. The fact is, that the vast majority of IBS 600 Yard shooters live in the Mid Western and Eastern States.

I just wanted to set things straight on this issue. Please excuse me if I ruffled any feathers, that was not my intent. EDIT: If the poster was talking about some other IBS National event, please accept my appology.

Steve I shot the IBS 600yd nats in 2010 at st louis,,,they were ran the most efficiently of any long range match that I have ever been to,,,I hope the range here in WV can grow and have more benches (currently 10 ) and get some gongs rather than the birds on the ground,,,,and maby someday have the nat, here!!!..Roger

One of the really nice things about the historic Camp White Rifle Range, it that it is left over from WWII. The town (city) of White City grew up around it. Lodging and restaurants are less then 3 miles away from the range. Paved roads to and from the range. There are actual working bathrooms at the range.
Check it out... www.rvssa.org.

I did not say the LAST TWO YEARS...read what i said.
co quit the ibs several years back when they were denied the nationals, which were then handed back to the range that had then the prior year. no bs....same range two years in a row...against the bylaws.
co rejoined last year and we shot nbrsa with the nationals, then switched to ibs.
this year we will shoot independent.

For each competitor, there will be 4 days of shooting. 2 days of 600 yard, and 2 days of 1000 yard.
Each day (per relay) there will be 3 record targets LG (5 rounds) plus sighters and 3 record targets HG (10 rounds) plus sighters. Total rounds needed for record 180, not counting rounds used for sighting.
3 days were scheduled for each shoot, 600, 1000, just in case of rain, or a large turn out..
Hope this answers your questions.
