No such thing as yet. ANd considering all the democrats that got elected in the last election, I wouldn't hold my breath.

I didn't think there was any movement to a nationwide carry permit. I thought they were pushing for a reciprocity agreement, like every state has to accept every other states drivers license. You would still have to fulfill the requirements for your state's CCW.
I believe all of this will not happen while the Dems hold the House. They will never move any gun bills.

Right now the best you can do is get a CWP in a state that allows non residents to apply, 37 states have reciprocity agreements to honor an AZ permit.

Wrong...called an HR218 LEOSA card. Got mine and have carried it for about 10 years now. Federal permit for active and retired LEO officers.

I believe he is referring to non-leo permit. I'm retired LEO and I just carry my gun since moving. I am required by the stupid law to qualify every year since I moved out of the state I worked in. What the heck difference does it make where I live? So I just carry and not worry about it...

Supposed to be but magazines need to conform to state limits. Also active Fed LEOs don't need the LEOSA card just fed credentials.

Check with your local PD or give a call to Billings and they might offer the qual for you. Here in WA State we hold monthly classes for any retired officer regardless of the agency they formerly worked for or retired from.

Well my year ends this month.. The thing you need to know is most cops just don't care if you are carrying a gun and not a criminal. If I drank and dove or beat the old lady, did drugs, it would be a problem if an officer noticed I was carrying. If you are doing things right living the dream and trouble finds you, and you did not provoke it chances are if you use your gun the will be no issues. Either your had the right of self defense or you did not. Was it justified is all they really want to know.

Part of the reason I ask is because a friend got a link from gunbroker to apply for nationwide carry permit. I told him it was probably a scam to get his personal information but I would ask for him.
No they don't have same rights you do.illegals can't buy firearms legally or carry them.
We are all concerned with the ignorance going on at border.
Best thing you can do is carry a firearm at all times and not be a victim.dems are destroying this country and allowing people like you to be concerned.
