Natchez is getting the message out, start 'em young!!

I've got twin six year-old boys that like to help me at the bench once in a while. You gotta take them one at a time or they end up playing and brass and bullets end up in the floor. The keep saying they want to shoot the match with daddy and win a medal. Its great fun.

Nice! I`ve said it a gazillion times, that if we don`t teach the young, ther`ll be no more guns. We sat for to many decades not teaching the children the reasons we have guns. It also needs to be mentioned, not enough gun owners are even registered to vote. Maybe the children can teach thee old, something, too.

I`ve done my part for decades to help keep our sport and hobby alive. Pass it on!

Both of mine are not young anymore but thankfully I included them at my reloading bench years ago so they both could learn how to hand load. Even though they are not as involved as I am with it they can when they decide to.

We have a rule, the boys can handle firearms all they want. Before they are allowed, they must recite the four rules of gun safety and follow them when they handle them. I figure, remove the mystery. I take them shooting regularly and they usually "want to see" one of the guns about once or twice a week. They recite the rules of gun safety, hold it for a few minutes, hand it back and go about their day.

I love this! Thank You!!!!!
