Last night I went about cleaning out my reloading room and getting the older stuff I don't use anymore partitioned out to the shop with all my old 30 Cal bullets and dies.
Was packing up assorted boxes of the second bullet below that I used to shoot at 3175 fps out of a magnum, and dropped a few on my reloading bench with some lighter 131 grain bullets I had been seating in different cases.
The two bullets are 0.040" different in OAL, 30% different in mass, but BC is within 1%.
The first one should be a no brainer.
The second, I used to love shooting out to 1300-1500 yards and thought it was quite slippery back then.
