Can any of you old school guys tell me anything about the old BR stock I just bought? It has a 2 1/4" forearm and my 700 action screws are too long to tighten it up. Core appears to be foam. Butt is weighted, and it appears to have a Ruger recoil pad ... lol

most different stocks will need custom length screws made. I use the bat screws on most everything I do. gotta cut them off to length. I'd do it after bedding
