N570 info needed

Ok, so i bought a 7mm Rem Mag and have everything to reload with but powder. I have found some N570 (looking for 560 or RL22) and looking for your input/help on whether this powder will work for 120-150 TTSX and 150 Game King.

Your help/input is greatly appreciated.

I haven't tried it in anything that small/light, but I do not think it will work well in that application. I do not think you will get enough in the case to get good pressure/performance with bullets that light. It might work ok with 18-0 class bullets. I just think it is too slow of a burn. Maybe someone with first hand experience with it in that application would know better though.

Hope that helps.

Hit the search there was the same thread a couple days ago you can get some pretty good info from

N570 is a very slow burning powder good for (generally) large caliber heavies in long tubes. if you can get the N570, pretty sure you can find some folk who have faster burning powder to trade, or you can try to find some super-heavy .284 projectiles (i.e. >180gr).

What's your twist rate on the barrel?
