n150 in a dasher?

anybody tried it yet or had any luck with n150 in a dasher?doing good loading rl 15 or varget but just not getting the case filled like i want it,n140 looks to be just like rl 15,let me know any loads to start with or if it will even work, shooting 105 lapuas & would like to be just above 3000 fps,thx...r

I haven't tried RL-15 in my Dasher I'm using 36.6 grns of 550 and this is near a case full and accuracy is sub 2" at 600 yds with my GF squeezing the trigger.

Once I get my new krieger barrel chambered in the 6 Dasher I'll test the RL-15 and give reports.

thx,may try it or some 150 just to see how it works, the rl 15 works okay but i think it will do better with 150,what primers do u use with the 550?

Hi,

I got good results with full-case loads of N150 using 105 scenars using CCI450 primers. I will be testing N150 and PMC magnum primers next week. Hopelfully with a new batch of 95VLD's.

I've been using N150 in my Dashers - charge weights in my first Krieger were running about one full grain heavier than Varget, and were giving 50-60fps more velocity, along with single digit ES numbers, and SDs of 2-3. Accuracy at 600yds. with 105 Scenars has been excellent.

However, in my Broughton, I'm only able to use about a half-grain more N150 than Varget before getting brass extrusion into the ejector plunger tunnel. Not as much of a velocity advantage in this barrel, although the accuracy is still fine.

went to the range yesterday but was only able to shoot out to 200 yds,the n150 gives a better case fill & once i found the sweet spot at 60+2 clicks on my measure things tightened right up,in the 2's at 100 & 3's at 200,most groups, tend to drop my last shot of 5,have to figure that one out, gonna do more next weekend but it shows promise at around 3000 fps
