N135

I have some N135 but haven't found anything so far that really likes it. Might not have experimented enough yet tho.
I am wondering if anyone has used it in a 6BR with 105s? Haven't seen much published data for it outside on 150 gn bullets in 308W.
I've had luck with Varget in the 6BR, but running low on it.
I also have 8208XBR . Any data for that with 105s

It works great in 6BR with lighter bullets. I shot it for several years using 80gr Dominator and 80 FB Bergers.
I know guys using 8208 with lighter bullets but not 105gr.

I found 8208 to be peaky - it works well, but pressure seems to go up rather abruptly when you get towards max. It has been a while since I played with it though. I don't recall accuracy being any better than other powders.

Never tried N135, but have used a fair amount of N133 in short range 6BR. For long range with heavier bullets I use LT-32, RL-15, Varget, or N140.

Note: All recreational target shooting. I don't compete or hunt.

VV-N135 seemed to work well with 80 gr. class bullets in my 6BR some time back. The drawback if one would called it that is it tends to get hot really quick as opposed to other powders suitable for that case.

My 22 PPC loves the stuff. Ship it to me and I'll take care of getting rid of it. ;)

6bra, 105 Carpenter, 30.4 N135. 3000 rnds+ on practice barrel. Very good precision @ 600 yds. 2880 to 2900+ depending on temp. Using 35+ firings brass, so I don't push it faster because of clickers. I suggest working up in the hot, as it seems very temp sensitive.

Got down to 6 lbs of H-4895 saving for a new 6 BRA Bartlein Barrel on a Defiance SA. have used about 9 lbs of N-135, with 105 grain bullets in 2 Barrels both HV Palma,1-30",1- 31",a little quicker than H-4895 in Peterson & Lapua brass Single digit SD's & Low ES ,probably should not post this, people will be bogarting my N-135 lol.

The description says its good for lighter than 155 bullets in 308, good for 6 BR, 222 rem and 223 rem. Also large straight walled cases like 458 win mag.

Lighter bullet slower velocity loads in 375 h&h. Use in 9.3x62. I can imagine might also work in 35 whelen.

I might move my charge .2-.3 grains throughout the course of the year, but that’s really rare and only if I’m running on the ragged edge to begin with. I’ve heard all the horror stories about N135, but out here in the desert that’s simply not the case. I have ran the same charge with 68s for 10 years and it has about a 40 fps window through the course of the entire year, and that could be due to anything.
