N.R.A. APPROVED F-CLASS MANATEE

THERE WILL BE AN N.R.A. APPROVED 300 YD. RIDE AND PASTE F-CLASS MATCH AT THE MANATEE RANGE, MYAKKA CITY, FL. FEB. 14TH. REG. AT 8:00 a.m. SHOOTING STARTS AT 9:00 A.M. 5-SIGHTERS, AND 3-15 RD.STRINGS FOR RECORD. NRA RULES ARE FOLLOWED.

Must be nice to shoot F Class in the Winter. I am going to put on my sub-arctic gear this afternoon and go out to my club`s 300 metre bench range north of Lake Erie. Sighting in my new Rem 700 VS SF in .220 Swift through the horizontal snow.

Am curious about the NRA target`s scoring ring size you will be shooting on. Canada has adopted the ICFRA 5 ring target, 0.4 moa V-Bull, 0.8 moa 5-ring at 300 yards. This target will be used this coming August at the 2010 Canadian Fullbore Champs.

What size is the NRA X-ring and ten-ring at 300 yards? If I decide to join the other snow birds and head south next Winter, curious about the target I would be shooting on.

Thanks
Bill

Taildrag, thanks.

I make this out to be 0.47 moa X-ring and 0.95 moa 10-ring. A touch larger than the ICFRA V-Bull and 5-ring. Makes for a challenging target.

Might be shooting on it next Winter if the cabin fever points me south.

You can always come down and give it a try during the summer, we hold 7 Matches at Peru, NY. One a month and a make up in Sept.
