This started as a cheap budget build. I guess I got carried away. I still have a few more things to do but it is shooting good for a budget price rifle.

This is 5 shots at 75 yards shooting 100g sgks off a bi-pod.I was working up a new load for dear season.

Very nice looking rifle and it looks as if the load you're using is a very good one also.

Thanks George!! Its a 243ai and that load is ff rem brass fed gmm 210 primers and 44.5 grains of hybrid 100 with 100g sgks.I have had good luck with several other loads.That Pac-Nor barrel really is a good one!!!!

It's a 243 ackley. Remington 722 action. PTG bolt, bottom metal and lug. I reshaped the rear tang to match the 700 profile. Dropped it in a hs precision. 26" Shilen varmint contour. Jewell trigger. The 722 257 robts barrel finally gave up. I've seen a pic of your 722 .222. VERY sharp sir! Don't ever get rid of it without dropping me a line first!

And if you ever need a extractor for that 722, I just so happen to know where a few are.... They are extremely hard if not impossible to find.. Unless you know who to ask
