My precious Great Grand Daughter!

Ava just turned 10yrs old. Year before last they had a day to come as a person that you liked. She had trouble getting permission to come as she did.

She made up her own MAGA speech. It was a big success.
This summer she attended the Rowlett, Texas Youth Police Academy. She impressed the instructors the first 2 days and the appointed her as the Judge for a court appearance the next day. She was excited and asked her Dad how she should handle herself. Dad told her to get on her computer and search jury trials. Of course she spent 2 hours studying Judge Judy.
She called her Great Grandmother after the day was over. Ava said a girl stole a DVD and after talking to the girl she fined her $450. My wife asked were you tough on her. Ava Said,"No Nannie, I was firm but kind. I think she will not do this again".

I have another photo of her with the Chief of the Choctaw Nation from 3 weeks ago, but she said she didn't photo well with Chief Batton and said I couldn't post it.
I know, we all think our off spring are the prettiest, handsomest, smartest, and gifted with commonsense. Yes, I am very proud of her.

Every time I think our world is going to Hell in a hand-basket , I get to read something like this that restores my faith in our next generation . Mom & Dad should be beaming , for raising such a treasure .

I don't know if I've just been paying more attention lately or what, but I've been noticing more "good kids" than I would have believed possible lately. Admittedly, I pretty much live in Mayberry, but I'm starting to think that there may be hope.

If we all do our part to lead them the right direction with love and encouragement, they follow the right path. We've got to plant the seed of skepticism for the brainwashing they receive at school and social networks, and help them to see the beauty of logic and morals. jd
