My new batch of JLK's

I just recieved 1000 130 JLK's and I noticed they dont have the dimple in the base like the last two batches I have used? I didnt buy them directly thru JLK I picked them up on internet forum.

Just did some quick measurements on them and they are.

1.35 overalll length and my other two batches are 1.650

They weigh 130 grains but I am not convinced they are JLK's

Could you call the manufacturer and ask if he thinks they are his.I would also see if the seller bought them thinking they were the real thing. It happened to me once when I bought some match bullets which turned out to be something different.

Well I have talked to the Manufacturer on a few occasions I know what he would say.

Anyone ever seen JLK 130's without dimples in the base.

Jim lynn Knox (JLK) is no longer in business. Swamp Works Bullets (Steve Millholland) took over his operation several years algo years algo.

Swampy and I have had several conversations about lot to lot variations and his reply is he is at the mercy of the jacket mfg. I've been shooting his bullets for some time now, and I always buy a year in advance. I like to replace a bbl. and switch bullet lots at the same time if at all possible.
I hope this helps,
Lloyd

My 130 JLK's are also 1.350.

some very but I am not sure anyone ever made a 130 JLK that was 1.650!!! That is way too long....
