Good news. Got my 6.5X47 back from the smith today with the new broughton 1:8 barrel on it. I would also like to give credit to the smith for the trigger job he did on it. Simply amazing does not begin to do justice to how smooth it is. Going to do some loading tomorrow and get zeros saturday and will report back saturday night.

This is about the best group I have gotten with 130 Bergers! I have tried many combinations and powders, but I have never shot a groups better than this. I am going to try some 130 JLK's as soon as it warms up!

I hope your new Broughton barrel does the trick, but I have to warn you of one upcoming problem with the cartridge in your action - primer piercing. Like you I rebarrelled a .308W FN SPR to 6.5X47L - it seemed the ideal upgrade. I'm now about to have it rechambered to .260 Rem. Why? It pierces primers at any charge weight above starting loads with the usual favourites - H4350, Re15 etc. And this cartridge generally performs best with stout loads.
The problem is the FN SPR action is a tactical version of the Winchester 70 with the fattest firing pin I've seen outside of pre WW2 era military bolt rifles and with a none too close fit in the bolt face on top. This set-up cannot cope with SR primers even the thicker cup Magnum and BR versions. I hope you don't have this problem, but suspect you most likely will too. The answer is to get somebody like Gre-Tan turn the pin down and bush the bolt body. Unfortunately, there is nobody offering this service over here in the UK and it would be a very expensive job indeed done as a one-off with what competent gunsmiths charge per hour. This set-up isn't an issue with large rifle sized primers, hence the rechambering to .260R.
