I have a custom Winchester Model 70 6mmBR made from a 22-250 than feeds the smaller 6mmBR cartridge like butter. My question is, is this a fluke? I got it in a trade form a guy who had it built from a gunsmith in Tennessee is all I know. It has a 8" twist SS douglas medium weight barrel and a Boyds stock. It shoots bughole groups at 100yds with 28.8 gr of N135 and 80gr Sierra Varminter Blitz. I use it for groundhogs and I did kill a doe with last season. As I read on this forum, a lot of you have problems with getting 6brs to feed from a blind magazine, has anyone tried a model 70?
