my latest varmint slayer

this gun is awesome!!! had a 22 BR. 12 twist kreiger attached to a stiller single shot predator action, shehane tracker stock, jewell tirgger at 1.5 oz and stuck a sightron 8-32 with 1/8 min clicks no top. shots 7,8,9,10 formed a 1/4 in hole st 100 yds!! with a little load development using 63 cheeks or 64 bergers, 3 shot groups are consistently .2 in and some are .1 in. i have as of yesterday, killed 18 consecutive ghogs at ranges of 100yds to 372 yds. 268 yds saturday with a 15-20 mph wind from 4 o'clock...held just behind his buttock and hit lower chest and was DRT. i know i will someday miss, but for now, this is one extremely accurate, almost magic, varmint terminator.

You can't go wrong with a .22BR. They just plain shoot. Here's a pic of my lightweight rig for coyotes. ;D

thanks everybody. the gun weighs about 12 #, a 12 twist (i chose this specifically for 64 gr bergers since i talked a buddy into this twist for his 22-250 build and it will one hole the 64s). currently waiting for my order of 500 65 gr jlk vld bullets which should shoot but will have a hard time beating the 63 cheeks or bergers. interestingly, the cheeks don't come with a bc which is required for calculating a ballistic chart, so i guessed and they print exactly at the poa. the bergers have a little less bearing surface, so they go a little faster with the same powder charge as the cheeks and both shoot to shoot to the same poa. can't help but wonder what it might do shooting off one of those $400+ front rest, etc, but i think i'll just let her do her thing with varmints.
