My latest project, 22-250

Incidentally WW760 was one of the best powders that I ever used in my old 22-250 with the 55 grain bullets. Plenty accurate and gave me the highest velocities that I was able to achieve with that rifle. Not noted for the temperature insensitivity of Varget but I never had trouble even in the hot summer.

I always liked WW760 in my 17Rem,when I ran out I got a 8lb jug of H414 and use it in my 22-250 and 22-250AI as well as the ole Swift

Was this target shot at 200 yards as well? Lookin good with the 4064! What primer you using with the 4064 powder?

Yes, 200 yards. The primers are CCI 200.

Thanks for the input. I'm considering building another 22-250 since I already have a barrel and currently working on a rifle purchase that will yield me another model 12 action.

Shilen Select Match barrels are usually very accurate.I have one in 280AI,and it's factory varmint contour.I put 5 160 grain Sierra TMK's into .194 at 100 yards a couple of months ago,and it's usually in that ballpark about all the time.But the TMK's are all gone for now.H380,4064 and Varget are good powders for the 22-250,and I'll add one more,CFE-223.My Rem. 788 shoots very good with it,52 grain A-Max's turn 3900 FPS out of the 24 inch barrel,and that's .7 grains below max.Groups at 300 yards are between an inch and an inch and a half.
