For alittle background. I have found the Leupold Varmint Hunter Reticle is just the mostest, bestest, reticle for coyote hunting WITH a flat shooting rifle. Like, for example a 243. Sighted in at 200 the 300, 400 and 500 hashes can be dialed ( using the power ring to all be within an inch ) note: second focal plane. I have two VX3s in 4x14. I’ve always wanted alittle more power. So it seems Leupold is fazing the Varmint reticle out but it is still available in the 4x24 VX6. But WOW is it expensive! I’ve been so tempted!!! Even added it to my cart a couple time but just couldn’t push that last button. So anyway before you get bored. I looked at Midway last week and saw this. $575.00 OFF. Note it’s a factory blemish. Only one available. I pushed that last button a quick as I could. It came packed in shrink wrap just like new. Has the slightest of ring marks. Coyotes beware!

I guess the knob twisters have exerted their influence. I really like the VH reticle.
