grandson Remy's rifle, instead of a 30 BR we went to a 30 PPC because he didnt care for the recoil of the BR.
A huge Thanks to my great friend @Billy Bob for getting us set up with his reamer and brass.
I did a ladder test with 3 powders on the 30 PPC today each shot is an increase of .2 grains
Accurate 5744, Shooters World Blackout and Vit. N 120.
First target is 5477 then SW Blackout followed by N120.
Clearly Vit. N120 will be the powder of choice
Set the seating depth at .005 off the lands just guessing where it should be no adjustment on tuner.
I'll get back out tomorrow to tweak the seating depth and the tuner.
This was at 300 yards
It looks like it's going to be a shooter.

Get that young man (he don't need no more coaching!) loaded up in the truck and y'all have all the fun you can! WE are glad to have a new junior shooter in our ranks, and will teach him all the things he doesn"t need to know very quickly. Welcome aboard, Remy! See you at the next match, man, wherever that is.

Well Remy shot his 1st IBS score match over the weekend. I felt he did really well considering he's never shot more tha 15-20 rounds on any given day and probably only 100 or so his entire life, he is 13 yo.
He had some issues with the brass ( we were fireforming alot of it ) it wasn't going off on the first fp strike.
On 3 of the 5 relays he was down to less than 5 seconds still having to get off his last shot.
Not once did he get shook or panic, just focused on getting it done.
He finished 15th out of 21 shooters at 100 and 18th at 200 and 18th in the agg.
Pretty good I felt for his first match I was really proud of him.
His older brother Gage ( 15 ) did well also 11th at 100 6th at 200 and 6th in the agg.
He made me look bad this weekend ! Lol...
Looks like we may have a winning team this year .
