My first crack at a bench rest gun

I didn't get the comments about the rest being backwards. My eyesight is not the greatest but it looks to me as if the rifle is resting against the stop.

The pic in post #22 shows the correct rest orientation. The pic in post #1 has the leg placement 180' out of phase, although it appears the stop is being used.
I shoot free recoil and all my scopes are mounted high to minimize body/ head contact.
 
I see now the base was backwards and the top was right. thank you LHSmith. I keep looking at the top and the forend of the stock was pegged. Ive always shot better free recoil if I was practiced up, but if i have not been around the gun in a few weeks shooting pegged was better till i could get back in the rhythm.
