My first attempt at a custom build

This project started in December. While trying at times it did make winter go by a little faster.This is strictly a 50yrd bench gun.
Stock walnut laminated with beech.16 coats of tru oil.
Stock glass and pillar bedded.
Feddersen varmint bbl 20in.
Bolt knob by the Polished,Knob
Trigger down to 8oz.
Trigger shoe added
T36 scope.

Action is a Cz455 .That was the longest Feddersen had.Might do a Lilja see how this one spits them out first.

Looks great to me. I just had one built myself lately. Joe Chacon did it for me. I slapped a Weaver T36 on it. It shoots right with any good bolt gun for groups. Douglas 24" barrel shoots now.

Well here is a pic of the first outing.I'm happy with it.Don't know if this is good enough for compitition because I've never shot before but might give it a shot.3 shots@50yrds.

outstanding! fedderssen makes a fine barrel. heck of a guy to talk to also. who did the chambering? and what chamber was used? was the stock completely done by you?

The bbl is a .22.The stock is from a builder in Washington. I Did the finish on the stock.The stock is convertible. I can run the 3in forearm for shooting off a rest or put on a more traditional forearm with a picatinny rail for shooting off a bipod.
