It was quick— My dad passed on today - He’s made it through so many illnesses I thought I was ready but you find out you never are.

I am sorry for your loss. I hope he lived a full and wonderful life. I'm sure the best aspects of him reside in you--and that is something that can be passed to each generation--continuing his legacy forever.
 
I went through a very similar situation with my father only a few years ago.

I pray your Jesus and your Father are hand in hand raining their love and blessings down on you and all your family and loved ones.
