My crazy 7 year old

If these stories get in the way of gun stuff Ill stop posting them.

Me and my daughter stay up most of the night because its summertime and I am scared to death of losing one funny moment with her. Well tonight is no different we are giggling and laughing at each other until were in tears and my wife yells out you two shut up in there and it makes us laugh even harder. They are having Mother Daughter day tomorrow so I have been up for an hour or so putting curlers in my daughters hair that will look like she stuck her finger in a light socket in the morning and in no way resembling a hint of Vidal Sassoon Salon took place in the kitchen at midnight with plastic toy curlers.

Well I made her some chocolate milk which is a nightly ritual, she is laying down with here head on my lap watching Special Agent Oso.....She finished her Chocolate milk, throws the cup into the sink and goes to the bathroom. She turns off all the lights and lays back down on my lap and looks up at me with these huge glow in the dark vampire teeth in. I asked her what in the hell were you doing with those, she says well momma has her whitening strips so im gonna use my vampire teeth as mine....She put tooth paste inside the teeth with slobber running all over the couch and the huge green glowing teeth....Now this entire time she is being dead serious....This girl I a hoot every day.

Gotta love our daughters! Mine is 9. She won't go to sleep until I tickle her feet every night.

I think it is GREAT spending time with your kids like that.. I think I spent an inordinate amount of time with each of my children. BUT in reality, if I could have spent MORE time, I would have loved it. Now, my daughter will be 39 yrs old in August. BUT every chance I get (she now lives in Chandler, Arizona) we have "Daddy / Daughter Date Night" and we still have just as good of a time as when we had "Daddy / Daughter Date Night" when she was 3! You are on the right track my friend! Savor every moment and every "stage" of her life!!

Spend as much time as you can now and enjoy them. They grow up so very fast. These are special times now.

This also applies to granddaughters as well. Mine just turned 7 and we have some great times. :)

Regards, Paul
