Thanks ,I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did building it and if I gave anybody ideas so much the better. I think I enjoy the challenges of building something like this more than the actual shooting. I used to shoot at the Llano texas gun range and met some really nice people there that shot .22 benchrest. I miss the friendly completive shooting we used to have

This is really an impressive project. Along with the receiver modifications, Les built the tuner, crafted the wood stock, and he even built that sophisticated aluminum shooting rest.

Here are two, 5-shot groups fired with this rifle. This transformed 10/22 can really shoot!

Beautiful work! Many folks look at the 10-22 and imagine improvements, but few have the skills and energy to make them happen. Well done @scasa !!!

As with any 22 LR accuracy quest, there's the rifle. Then there's the ammo - testing as many types as practicable, especially premium match stuff. What were those targets shot with?

Some have a few extra shots but most are 3 shots

That was wolf match extra . My bolt action doesn't like it at all but seems like the 1022 likes it a little.
