Recently someone about load data for a 6BR with the 107 SMK and speeds obtainable. I will share these but read the disclaimer below.
DISCLAIMER - These loads where safe in my rifle. You at your own risk!
I didn't include all the groups. You can see from the data this barrel really likes the 107 SMK above all other bullets I tried with these powders. Yes 3000 is reachable with RE-15. I still had a little case capacity and the primers looked fine.
I have had some very good success with RE-17 and Berger 105s in a previous 6BR. I will go back to it again as time allows to compare. A couple of the groups where cold bore immediately after cleaning. They are marked on the pics, but I calculated the groups to include all shoots. Those two groups would have likely tighten up with a fowler shoot.
All 100 yd groups shot off a Cowan rest and rear bag. Winds at 10-2 variable at 5-10 mphs with the occasional gust. I will be fine tuning the 107 SMK and RE-15 a little more. These load were all shot with the bullets 0.005 into the lands using unfired brass.
The 80 Bergers also looked promising with N135. These loads were a little to hot and should be backed down a little. Flat primers
First experience with Wolf primers. Wow!!! First time to have extreme spreads in the single digits. I think many of the others would have been closer once the brass was fire-formed.
I tried to increase the resolution for the Excel table I save as a pdf then re-saved as a jpg. Not very good. Sorry.
Luck, tiny
Edit - added pdf file of load data for clearly image.
