Well, after stumbling around with a flashlight in my teeth like Kolchak in the Night Stalker, I excavated the detritus from the proper shelf only to discover that the heavies were all jacketed.

I did, however find some RCBS Silhouette gas checked boolits left over from banging steel on an IHMSA range years ago. I used to push them fast with modest leading and authoritative impact in a 12” T/C Contender.


Can send them to you as a back up in case your quest is unsuccessful.

We have bear attacks every year. In most every case there was time for one shot or not even one. So make sure you can draw and put a round on target very fast. If you cant it does not matter how powerful it is.
