MY 25 X 47 LAPUA BUILD & LOAD WORK-UP

Just an update on these. An employee from Sierra reached out to me last nite on Facebook and said he will have someone get in touch with me today to get the perts on this bullet to see if the issue could be remedied.
Sierra is sending an RMA to get the bullets back so they can evaluate the issue with their tools. If they make it right we may try them again but for now the 135 gr. Berger is making me happy no doubt.

For those interested in load data for the 25 X 47 Lapua this is the data sheet obtained form Berger Bullets. I had asked for data for VV-N555 but below Mr. Bob Blaine replied with this memo.

"Thank you for contacting us at Capstone PG. Unfortunately, we are not offering VihtaVuori Load Data for use with the .25 X 47 Lapua using N555 with our Berger 135gr LRHT bullet. This is due to the fact that it would load to a fill ratio of 108% and this is a situation where we would need more powder than we have available internal case capacity to hold all of the needed powder and still have enough room left over to properly seat a bullet. In essence, N555 is simply too slow of a burn rate powder to be useful in this application."

Was a question concerning chrono numbers (Garmin) for the .071 5-shot group @ 100 yds. I posted last week in post # 11. Can't wait to get this thing out to 300 & 600 yds. to see how it works out. I am totally happy with what I'm seeing with these numbers.

CAUTION - DO NOT DUPLICATE THIS LOAD WITHOUT THE CORRECT REAMER

Bill, you and Graham are killing the mileage on my vehicles, driving all that way, hiding in the swamp and dodging the moccasins and get eat up by the giant skeeters and still missing the package delivery. I will be easier to get my own. Great job Bill, Brett, and Zack.

What a shooter! I have been seriously contemplating a 25 Creed after my 6 Creed barrel is toast. The only thing is, it is my dedicated coyote rifle. Don't really need that heavy of a bullet for dogs, but the ballistic performance and barrel life is quite a bit better with the heavy 130-135g bullets.

25 creed with a 10 twist and the blitzking or vmax bullets would rock a coyote in fun fashion. Could really go to the 80 or 100 ttsx for larger deer sized game with ease.
