I shot a .109 for 4 shots and the fift shot took it out to .390 . The third group with .109 -4 shot group I'm .006 off the rifling . I have to work on that fift shot . LOL . Shooting vvv130 - 21.4 gr powder and 52 gr Bergers .

Nice shooting! You share a pic of your 222

Very nice rifle Art. An XP action and .222 chamber with a Hart barrel sound like a dream come true.
Just came across a beautiful Cooper in .222 at the local Cabelas, needless to say I was smitten.
All I need to do is rob a scope and see how she does. Hope you bust a few varmints with that beauty.

Matt

.222 Rem is a cartridge that makes me smile every time it goes off. The stock is great... can't forget that on a bench or loose it in the field!

Curiosity - What / why did you select an XP action for your build? Every time I contemplate a new build with a small caliber I go through a mental exercise of which action to use or not to use and what is worth buying if I see one available at the right price.

Thanks

Because the gun was first built in 1974 and there was not that many custom action avable back then.
