My 1st wooden stock, assembled rifle pics added

So I got this stock from another member for refinishing. It had been stained and clear coated with an automotive clear.
Stock after stripping
You can see residual stain left in the soft grain.
Next my coat of black aneline dye.
Next I sanded this down with 320which left the black dye in the soft grain and exposed the hard grain.
Now for 2 coats of cherry red dye.
Next I sprayed 3 coats of clear polyester primer.

After primer cured I sanded down agian with 320 grit for clear coat.
A polyester urethane hybrid
Then after curing for a couple days I sanded clear coat with 800 & 1000 grit papers in preparation for buffing.
Heres my end result. I was hoping to have it back in the mail today but I havea couple things I want to address that I'll do in the morning. And have it shipped back to its proud owner.

I ordered orange dye just for you.
Dyes and buffing ruge will be here Wednesday. Expecting some panels of wood also to test some other colors.
And test my ability to leave exposed raw wood and stain for multi colors and fades.

30 years painting cars helps.
But the skills with wood go to my brother in law who's been building custom guitars.
Hes shared his knowledge and shop with me so I can learn a new craft.

Must use non starerated sandpaper!!!!!!!

I'd probably only do cars for friends and family.
