my 1st 6BRA ladder test

quick ladder test with the 6BRA at 400m/437y with 2206h/H4895 and 105gr hybrids 28inch HV Krieger barrel 1:7.5 twist .. wind was crap for 1st ladder and it didnt give me any useful information but got speeds from lab radar.. wind was alot better for 2nd ladder but still not ideal and there are the results in pic. I stuffed up 1 and 2 speeds by not arming lab radar on 2nd ladder..
I think I might have a fast barrel or powder. might try around 30.5gr I think

What do you learn here that you couldn't learn from the chronograph?

I would shoot 30.3, 30.4, and 30.5 to see what it showed. Based off your target I would also think 30.5 might be a good powder charge to start a seating depth test. Any pressure signs with shots 4, 5, and 6?

1st time using a chrono and ladder for load testing , i normally do the do groups at 300m

it was weird as i got a couple of slight ejector marks (out of 8 shots) at 31.1 gr which i was using as sighters at start but when i tested i got to 31.6gr and had no ejector marks on my cases

i ran 30.5 gr today at 800m in a bit of a F class shoot with my mates and it had good elevation for the crap conditions but my speeds where all over the show ..ES 22 SD 9.6 from memory .. 2955 to 2933fps.. got 58 with 4 Xs and cant remember 2nd but was going great till wind changed 3/4 way through then a few 4s hurt me

thinking about just waiting for better conditions and trying again
