My 1886 is finally done

Some of you may have seen this rifle after the USPS broke it in half. George Plyiant working out of David Christman's shop in Louisiana repaired the stock. Dan Stone in Illinois found another receiver and did the bluing and color case. The caliber is 40-65. I also have a C Sharps Low Wall in that caliber. I do need good light and a decent camera. My Brownie Hawkeye doesn't get it.

Very nice Butch, Wish I had still had my late and great fathers 86 in 45-70, his 92 was a 44-40 and the 94 was a 25-35 , he sold them back in the late 60 early 70's for $1100. Still haunts me today. He carried the 86 when we went back on the mountain in WVA for bear.

I miss the old Winchesters
