muzzle threads

Is there a good way to easily check muzzle threads for concentricity before i spin my new suppressor on that i have waited what seams like years for? I don't do machine work or own a lathe but have a few factory threaded barrels. Some have been cut by smiths and i trust those but would like to verify on the factory tubes if it can be done easily.

My smith cuts his off the true bore . A range rod mite work. Even a eye ball would be better then not knowing. You can put a range rod in and see if it looks centered on the suppressor . Range rod could be too short .then you would need a grizzly rod . Larry

Get a straight piece of drill rod that rides the lands really close, and use it as a gauge. How long is your can? Make the drill rod 4 or 6 inches longer. It will tell you what you need to know.
