Is there a good way to easily check muzzle threads for concentricity before i spin my new suppressor on that i have waited what seams like years for? I don't do machine work or own a lathe but have a few factory threaded barrels. Some have been cut by smiths and i trust those but would like to verify on the factory tubes if it can be done easily.

My smith cuts his off the true bore . A range rod mite work. Even a eye ball would be better then not knowing. You can put a range rod in and see if it looks centered on the suppressor . Range rod could be too short .then you would need a grizzly rod . Larry
can the range rod be used for different calibers ie pilots swapped?
Not really . Never have try shim stock. Larry
When we made our tuner brakes we made the bore large for the problem your talking about.

Youll need what they call an indicator rod if its long enough. May not be. I know a range rod is too short
It could be a Gordy rod they are made by Dave kiff. Larry
